Synopsis

In this article from the special event programme Ian Wheeler explores what makes the film so different from its TV counterpart and ponders its impact on a modern day audience. This was a rare outing for the film on the big screen at this particular time. Sadly the film prints provided by the distributor were not quite the 'good quality' copies we had been led to believe!
