Join us at Riverside Studios cinema on Sunday 30th September 2012 and enjoy a preview of selected episodes from these forthcoming Classic Doctor Who DVD releases - ON THE BIG SCREEN. Presented by the Doctor Who Appreciation Society with the co-operation of BBC Worldwide.

THE CLAWS OF AXOSThis story from 1971 has been carefully restored from the best available source material for a forthcoming DVD release.
THE AMBASSADORS OF DEATHThis 1970 story has, after many years of trying, been restored to its original full colour for release on DVD in October.
THE REIGN OF TERROREpisodes four and five from this 1964 story are missing from the BBC archive. However, new animated versions have been produced and matched to the original soundtracks to make the adventure complete again for
a future DVD release.

A range of Doctor Who Merchandise will be available on the day from Cult TV and Film.

Unfortunately all of our tickets have now been allocated. However, we are operating a 'waitlist' for any returns. If you would like to be added, please provide an email address which you will be able to check on a regular basis between now and 29th September 2012.

This event is presented by Time and Relative Ltd on behalf of the Doctor Who Appreciation Society, which incurs no contractual liability itself.

The screened material is the property of the BBC/BBC Worldwide and is provided at their sole discretion. All attendees must respect the ownership of the material and not make audio or video recordings of on screen presentations. This is a condition of entry.

It is intended to screen one episode from each story, and these will be selected by BBC Worldwide.

The event itself is organised for the benefit of attendees only and is not in itself an official BBC Worldwide event.

The organiser reserves the right to change or cancel any aspect of the event without notice, to refuse admission even if a ticket is held, and to remove attendees from the event. This is to ensure we are able to offer the best possible afternoon’s entertainment for everyone.

Tickets are issued for use of the named ticket holder only. They may not be transferred to someone else. Under no circumstances may tickets be be sold for any kind of remuneration. Tickets which cannot be used should be returned to the organiser for re-allocation to someone else.

You must bring your ticket with you on the day. They cannot be replaced if lost. Should you forget your ticket then sadly, you may not be able to gain admission. The organiser accepts no responsibility for applications or tickets that are lost or delayed in the post. If you are un-successful in your application we will use the stamped addressed envelope you supply to advise you of this.

Under 16s are welcome but should be accompanied by a ticket holding adult.

Riverside offers an on-site café and bar facility. If you decide to bring your own refreshments you will need to consume these off the premises.

Riverside Studios is DDA compliant. However the age and design of the building only allow for a limited number of places in the cinema for wheelchair users. If you are concerned about this please contact us in advance so that we can liaise with the studios and make sure that the event is fully accessible to you.
