Peter Sallis Dies

Peter Sallis who played Eric Penley in 'The Ice Warriors' in 1967 has died aged 96. He was best known to the public as the voice of Wallace in 'Wallace and Gromit and as Cleggy in Last of the Summer Wine.

Doctor Who UK Ratings Update

The consolidated Ratings for the BBC1 broadcast of 'The Pyramid at the End of the World' were 5.79 million, adding nearly 1.8 million viewers, putting Doctor Who as no 3 for the week on BBC1 and 7th across all channels.

Overnight Ratings on BBC1 for 'Thin Ice'

'The Pilot' Official UK Ratings

The consolidated ratings for the U.K. broadcast of 'The Pilot' added over 2 million viewers to the overnight figure. The show achieved just under 6.7 million viewers, making it number 10 for the whole week.

'Smile' Overnight Ratings

'Smil'e had an overnight rating of 4.25m or 23% on its BBC1 debut in the UK last night. It was 4th for the day after 'Match of the Day', 'All Round to Mrs Brown's' and 'Britain's Got Talent'.

'The Pilot' Overnight Ratings

The BBC1 premiere achieved an overnight audience of 4.64m, being 25% of the audience. It was the second most popular programme on BBC1 yesterday beaten only by Mrs Brown's Boys which was slightly higher at 4.67m
