If you would like to attend the unveiling of our Hartnell Heritage Plaque at Ealing tomorrow (Sunday), we have three places to give away in a free draw.

New Series - Immediate Reactions

We would like to hear your immediate reaction to the first episode of the new series - up to 100 words is fine and your comments may be included in a Society publication. As an incentive, we have three of our A2 full colour Dalek posters to give away to three people selected at random from the contributions received.

William Hartnell Heritage Plaque - Mini Plaque Pre-Orders

The design for our Hartnell plaque will be unveiled on 14th October 2018.

As in previous years (with plaques for Verity Lambert and Jon Pertwee) we are producing a very limited run of mini plaques. These are 300mm diameter, interior wall-mountable and are a replica of the primary plaque design. Only 20 will be produced.

Celestial Toyroom Annual 2019 - Contributors Wanted

The Celestial Toyroom Annual this year will cover the Hartnell era. As with previous volumes we are looking for items on every story.

William Hartnell Heritage Plaque

The Doctor Who Appreciation Society is pleased to announce that agreement has been reached for a blue heritage plaque honouring William Hartnell to be placed at Ealing Studios in West London. William Hartnell was a respected film and television actor and often worked at Ealing

We are investigating the delay with CT issue 483 which was collected from us over a week ago. Our mail provider UK Mail is currently trying to identify what happened to it after arrival in their main sorting centre. Hopefully it will be with everyone soon.

Leslie Grantham

The recent death of actor Leslie Grantham was a surprise to many people. He was best known to the British public as Den Watts in EastEnders, but to DW fans he was also Kiston, Davros's henchman in Resurrection of the Daleks. Later, he became known to genre SF fans again when his production company, Zenith, produced 'The Uninvited' for ITV.
