Radio 4 'The Film Programme' on 'Daleks Invasion Earth 2150 AD

'The Film Programme' from BBC Radio 4 features 'Daleks: Invasion Earth 2150 AD' this week, and reunites some of the original cast. You can hear the programme via the BBC iPlayer - hopefully non-UK listeners can get it too.

'Nightmare in Silver' Consolidated Ratings

The consolidated ratings for the initial broadcast of 'Nightmare in Silver' on BBC1 were a total 6.64 million viewers, adding almost 2 million viewers to the initial overnight results. Additionally, Doctor Who continues to top the BBC iPlayer download charts.

Peter Cushing Commemorative Covers

To celebrate Peter Cushing's 100th Birthday this Sunday, The Stamp Centre has produced two covers from the Dalek films, each featuring a Dalek stamp and the brand new Peter Cushing stamp. These will initially be available at 'Dr Who @ the Movies' this Sunday at Riverside Studios.

 

 

'The Name of the Doctor' Overnight Viewing Figures

A good result for Doctor Who and a steady improvement on the last few weeks; 'The Name of the Doctor' achieved for it's initial BBC1 outing, an overnight figure of 5.5 million, being 26% of the audience.
