The Doctor Who Appreciation Society, currently marking its 40th Anniversary, will shortly ask fans to help raise funds for a blue heritage plaque to honour Jon Pertwee.

In the coming weeks we will invite people to participate in the fundraising and also announce further details of a special event on 23rd October 2016 celebrating the Jon Pertwee era.

In 2014 fans helped the Society raise funds for a plaque to honour Verity Lambert. This was unveiled during a special event at Riverside Studios by Waris Hussein and you can view the video here. https://youtu.be/bnLhLdHyPCk

The Verity Lambert plaque is now in storage pending completion of the new Riverside Studios.
