This special programme with Dr Brian Cox is tonight on BBC2 at 9pm.

On Saturday night (19th) BBC1 will air a special Doctor Who at 50 trailer, after 'Strictly Come Dancing'. This will also be available to view at the BBC website immediately afterwards. More information is available here: http://bbc.in/1cDSjFp

The free newspaper 'Metro' today has interviews with Karen Gillen talking about her new big screen roles and also with 'The Thick of It' creator Armando Iannucci who talks about DW and specifically Peter Capaldi.

Tomorrow the BBC will make it's delayed press announcement regarding the return of missing Doctor Who episodes to the archives. There are many rumours flying about, and whilst we can safely say that the suggestion of all 106 episodes coming back to the archives is almost certainly untrue, quite what has been found remains to be seen.

DWAs co-founder Jeremy Bentham, along with his wife Paula and Tony Clark are organising another launch party for new Who. This one is slightly larger than previous events though, hosting up to 1500 people.
