The Crimson Horror Overnight Ratings

Doctor Who's overnight ratings continue their downward trend - although they still remain good overall in comparison to other shows. Yesterday's broadcast of 'The Crimson Horror' on BBC1 achieved an audience of 4.61 million or 25.2% of the audience. Final figures will be due in just over a week.

'Hide' Consolidated Ratings

The consolidated figures give 'Hide' a final viewing figure for its BBC1 broadcast of 6.61 million - meaning that it added 1.6 million viewers to the initial 'overnight' numbers - which is a good result. Doctor Who was 15th most popular programme for the week, and the 6th most popular on BBC1 behind only EastEnders, The Voice and Countryfile. The final audience share was 29.1%

'Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS' Overnight Ratings

The overnight ratings for yesterday's episode on BBC1 were 4.9 million, or 26.7% of the audience. Doctor Who was third for the day once again. Time shift figures will be available next week.

Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS

This week we have a copy of the new 'Destiny of the Doctor' CD 'Smoke and Mirrors'. This features the 5th Doctor and is read by Janet Fielding. 'Cold War' Consolidated Ratings

For it's BBC1 debut, 'Cold War' added 1.65 million additional viewers to finish with an overall figure of 7.34 million, being those who watched at the time of broadcast, and those who watched it later. This does not include the viewers for the BBC3 repeat, nor the BBC iPlayer downloads.

'Hide'. Overnight Ratings ** Updated**

The overnight ratings for 'Hide' on BBC1 yesterday show the episode achieved 5 million viewers. This is the lowest for for the 2012/3 series so far though is still a good figure. It represents 24.5% of the audience. Doctor Who was in 4th place for the day. The more accurate consolidated figures will be available in just over a week.

eBay Auction

DWAS recently inherited a Doctor Who merchandise collection from the family of a fan who sadly died from cancer. This is now being auctioned at eBay to raise funds for Leukaemia research.

'The Rings of Akhaten' Consolidated Ratings

The consolidated ratings for the BBC1 broadcast of 'The Rings of Akhaten' show that the episode added 2 million viewers, once those who recorded it to watch later are taken into account. The total figure for the episode is now 7.45 million.
