The numbers in brackets are with gift aid. A grand total of £2769.93 was raised, thanks to each and every one of you. Doctor Who fans are the best!

The Capitol update

We are delighted to say that the much anticipated episode 'Knock Knock' will be screened live in The Panopticon at The Capitol.

Following on from this we will be bringing you "Another Saturday Night Live at The Capitol", further details of which will be revealed in due course.

We're going be lighting our own Capitol Advent Candle. Look out for the announcement of a new guest every Sunday for four weeks in the run up to Christmas.

The Power of the Daleks - fully animated!

Yes, it's true!

BBC Worldwide are to release a fully animated version of “The Power of the Daleks” on Saturday 5th November, exactly 50 years to the minute after it was first transmitted on at 5.50pm on Saturday 5th November, 1966

The Capitol - ticket update

The allocation of one day tickets has now sold out. However, so as not to spring this on anyone planning to come on either the Saturday or Sunday, we are making additional one day tickets available for another week.

Please note that booking for these will close at 11.59pm on Monday 14th March, after which they will not be available.

Steven Moffat will be stepping down as Showrunner after Series 10, to be replaced by Chris Chibnall.

Diminishing Returns?

The average BARB viewing figures for Series 9 were 6.03 million. This is down a hefty 17% from Series 8 which garnered 7.26 million.

For two performances only - Hector

David Gooderson's play "Hector" is coming to the Ambassadors Theatre in London, on Wednesday 9th December for two performances only at 2.30 and 7.30pm. The play tells the true story of crofter's son Sir Hector MacDonald, a Scottish legend and fallen hero.

David is, of course, best known to Who fans as Davros from the 1979 Tom Baker story "Destiny of the Daleks".

Downtime on DVD

The 1995 spin-off "Downtime" will be released on DVD for the first time next Monday, 16th November.
