The Capitol³ Update

The allocation of one day tickets to The Capitol has now been filled. However, to allow anyone intending to join us for either Saturday or Sunday the opportunity to do so, booking will remain open until 6pm on 12th February.

Thereafter full weekend tickets will remain on sale, although these are now seeing increased demand, as are hotel rooms (just £60 per night).

Cosmic Masque Halloween Special - Contributors Required

Dear All

We are planning a Halloween Special issue of ‘Cosmic Masque’ which will feature fiction only.

So we are on the look out for writers/artists to contribute short stories and art of a spooky nature.

In terms of what we are after it is very open to your own ideas; though I am a sucker for the classic ‘Universal Monsters’ and would love to read a Doctor Who meets Slender Man tale…

Cosmic Masque - CM5

The actor Scott Fredericks has died. Scott was best known to Doctor Who fans as 'Boaz' in 'Day of the Daleks' and 'Max Stael' in 'Image of the Fendahl'. He also played the strategist 'Carnell' in the Blakes 7 episode 'Weapon' written by Chris Boucher, a role he later reprised in the audio series 'Kaldor City' - a DW/B7 cross over.

Cyber-CT 2001

With the return of the The Tenth Planet, at Christmas getting ever closer, we have been through our archive and found something from 2001, the year of DWAS's 25th Anniversary. The magazine in May of that year was a cyberman-themed special and we have chosen a number of articles along with a piece of fiction to go into this free download.
