Publicity is Go!

The arrival of the new Doctor has bought the DWAS into the public eye once more, with the society featuring on various radio stations over the weekend. The DWAS appeared on BBC Radio Coventry, BBC Radio 5Live, the BBC News Channel, BBC Three Counties Radio and in The Independent on Sunday. Our involvement on ABC Radio is included on the site.

The Eleventh Hour. Final thoughts.

Here's the last batch of your reviews & comments on "The Eleventh Hour" that I'll be posting. Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to email me. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on "The Beast Below".

Daleks, Cybermen and Internet Explorer 6

The Doctor gets to fight many enemies in his travels. As a webmaster there are fewer monsters in my life on a day to day basis. There is one though. Internet Explorer 6!

The Eleventh Hour. More of your thoughts.

Ivan Philpot: First impressions were how filmic the whole production felt. The switch to HD had already occured so it probably wasn't just that that made the whole thing feel bigger, but others in the room were also asking what the changes to filming were.

The Eleventh Hour. 24 Hours On....

I went into last night's Series 5 Premiere with an open mind. Have to say that I thought it was a superb episode. Matt Smith has nailed it straight away, Karen Gillan was excellent, the new TARDIS is sublime, etc etc. Rather than go on further I thought I'd post some of your thoughts that have made their way to CT Towers by email.

I Hear That Doctor Who is Back..?

I heard a few years ago that Doctor Who was coming back. I saw it in 2005 and caught a few glimpses after that, but nothing for over a year until tonight.

A first time for everything

Blog?
What, me blog?
Never say never...

Welcome to the all-new CT Editor's Blog. We'll have to see how things pan out over the coming months, but hopefully this will give you some insight into what is happening with your magazine, as well as previewing some of the upcoming features. Anyway, today being 3rd April there is only one thing to blog about!

The moment has been prepared for...

The start of the Moffatt/Smith era is just around the corner so what better time for the DWAS to join in and revamp our website?

We have big plans for our new website. Not only will we be frequently updating our blogs so that you can keep up to date with the latest society news - but we will also be adding new sections to the site over the next few weeks.

Just A Day Away...

As I write this series 5 is just a day away. I wonder what we'll all be saying about the New Who tomorrow? Will we be gushing with praise or whinging about everything from the new music, titles, TARDIS to the new Doctor? Maybe we'll be doing all those things.
