Murray Gold’s immaculately crafted soundtrack to the 2010 Doctor Who Christmas special
Doctor Who on Christmas Day has now become part of the yuletide tradition in the UK almost rivalling the seasonal greats such as Morecambe & Wise, The Queen’s Speech and EastEnders.

Gone so quickly, but Christopher Eccleston bought new depths to the Doctor and success for the return of the series. Six year ago, fans waited with joy that the new series was coming back. What would it be like? Farting monsters? Space Pigs? Gas Mask Zombies?
As if the toybox and the new archive were not enough, we are also starting to make plans for our next one day Doctor Who event. 'Time 5' will take place on Saturday 29th October 2011 at our usual venue - Riverside Studios.

The Society holds not only the Celestial Archive, but a Celestail Toybox too. This collecion of memorabilia is updated for you to view on a weekly basis and holds a collection of material old and new.
The Celestial Archive is now active, and you can visit it by selecting from the menu bar above. (You may need to refresh your page in order to see the button)
The Celestial Archive launches in just... hours. I am very pleased with how it is currently looking. Initially there will be just one category - 'Voices From the Past' but with new ones added on a regular basis. Initially the content of the archive will be open to everyone who visits our website. We have a large amount of Doctor Who related material that deserves a wider audience.

Is it really nearly five years ago when the great 10th Doctor appeared in his first full season opener The New Earth? The Toybox remembers that second series and its merchandise in this week's 10th Doctor special!
My first Celestial Toyroom as editor will be the April issue and plans are well underway and looking good. However there is always a need for more material so if you have something to contribute please send it to me at grant.bull@dwasonline.co.uk.
